Another cloudy day here in Jamaica. I think I have forgotten what the sun looks like. We've been having so much rain, hopefully it goes away soon.
It is now officially the start of hurricane season. I am really hoping we have no major storms. Hurricanes and especially earthquakes really scare me. It feels horrible to not have control over something so destructive.
On a happier note :)
We have two little doves that have been sitting on their nest for the last few weeks and today I noticed that the eggs have hatched. So we now have two new little doves.
The doves have made their nest in a pot plant on our bedroom verandah so I haven't been able to open up the doors or been able to sit outside (thankfully we do have another verandah downstairs)
So I am looking forward to having the verandah back soon.
I managed to get this photo of one of the doves sitting on the nest. They are such good parents and are really taking good care of their new little babies.
